Prayer Life

Prayer for Benedictines is a relationship with God which opens one to the awareness of God’s presence permeating all of one’s life. The realization of God’s activity in the soul has been expressed in a variety of ways according to various times and situations. Prayer forms have changed in response to the larger movements of prayer within differing cultures. We gather in the main Chapel for Lauds and Eucharist, Midday Prayer and for Vespers. The Office of readings is celebrated in the common room in the house.  Inter faith dialogue The members participate in various inter faith dialogues as and when there is a meeting for the same and give our valuable contribution to the support of such endeavors. Also, some of us represent Christian community in prayer in Interreligious prayer gatherings occasionally conducted by the district administration and various social groups in Shivpuri town.
