Formation

Good leadership and well-prepared formators are not enough in themselves to guarantee adequate formation in a monastery. The entire community, by its way of life, integrity and commitment to the monastic ideals and above all to prayer, is of its nature the first formator. In spite of very many difficulties in “vocation crisis” we the monks look forward with full optimism to promote vocations to the monastery who are willing, to live the life of obedience, stability and conversatio morum. We are ready to be educated and informed into taking responsibility for seeking out and encouraging vocations for Monastic Life.
We have a small Formation House where we form and educate young people with basic orientation for Monastic life until they enter Novitiate. For further studies they are sent to different Monasteries and seminaries till they make their Solemn Profession.
