BENEFACTORS

We are indebted to Abbot General Simon Tonini OSB for his support for this initiative of our pioneering members: Fr George, Fr Hugh, Fr Bernard and Fr Jacob Emmanuel, in 1980 to this mission, with the backing of the then Prior Fr Paulinus OSB, of our main house in Kerala. We experienced the accompanying presence of all our Abbot Generals during these years. This Jeevan Jyoti Priory can never forget the fatherly care of Bishop Frederick D’Souza of the Diocese of Jhansi, our mother diocese, which was a comforting presence in the challenging times of this mission in the early years of its life. We constantly experienced the support and encouragement of our confreres of Italy, United States, Australia and Sri Lanka in the various times of our growth and development. It is their whole hearted support that made us to grow to what we are today. We also express our gratitude to AIM for their support in the various stages of this Priory since its very inception. We also gratefully acknowledge our parishioners and few Catholic families who have contributed to the renovation of our monastic church by the mite they have contributed in various ways. We highly appreciate Mr. Donald Gonsalves and family from Mumbai for their financial contribution in bringing up one of our monks to the Altar in the service of the Lord
